I am so glad I found this place. Mike/617 (not sure if he posts here) referenced it on SSP.

I've been looking for a stand-alone Boston forum for a long time. I am moving there in October.

What part of Boston are you moving to? And where are you moving from?

Somewhere in the city, and I am coming from Tampa.

And, yes: why so serious? I am a huge fan of The Joker character.
 
Welcome The Man Who Laughs. And I definitely agree with you on being a huge fan of the Joker character. Batman was an amazing movie, and Heath Ledger as the Joker was just fantastic.
 
Are they fixing up Ybor City, or is all that dead with the economy? I suppose the Columbia Restaurant is still conning the mugs. Valencia Gardens is nicer, if less architecturally interesting.

No idea. Haven't been to Ybor in four years or so. Tampa isn't all that interesting.

I'm having trouble taking you seriously I'm sorry it's my problem not yours. You and BostonNeedsAShakeShack. I thought he meant more strip clubs. And now he's a college professor? Why you'd automatically want to discredit yourself I don't understand. I shouldn't talk though.

Toby they've been trying to fix up Ybor for years... Centro Ybor is mostly a failure, the tram goes there from the entrance to Harbor Island and past Channelside, but no one uses it. I heard they had further plans to yuppify it but I don't think its working too well. Development is encroaching from the port side. Personally I loved it in college but it would probably annoy me these days. ALWAYS some amazing tail running around there. I have a few funny stories from that place

Thanks for the Ybor update. Once in a while would take a day or two and go to a Rays or Bucs game, or go to Legends Field. (Not a Spankee fan, but it is a real nice ballpark design!)

I had the idea that BNASS is female. That would bring us up to, what, 2, 3? Let's see. Shirley is the real deal. Who knows what Jessie is, was, would be.
