Thank you Nexis4jersey for all your many posts here with these wonderful photos. My wife and I are headed to Baltimore and the mid-Atlantic area this June for our 50th anniversary, so we will visit some of the sites shown in your great photos.

Just be careful its very easy to walk from the safe areas into the seedy areas..the buffer is usually 1-2 blocks..

Thanks. My younger son and his wife reside in inner Baltimore, and he has lots of cautionary tales about that city.
 
Downtown Baltimore

Baltimore Public Works Museum & Eastern Avenue Pumping Station built in 1912.



Pratt Street Power Plant , Former power plant of a United Railways and Electric Company, powering the streetcars of Baltimore. After the plant ceased operation in 1973, it was converted to retail & office space.



Shot Tower station



A Southbound Baltimore Light RailLink train entering the Camden Yards Station



Baltimore City Hall was designed by George E. Frederick and built in the 1860s. In the late 1970s, extensive renovations were undertaken to bring the building to modern standards. City Hall houses offices for each of the city council members along with the mayor.



Preston Gardens Park

Washington Monument - Marquis de Lafayette Statue



The Stafford Hotel opened November 5, 1894. It now serves as student housing for Peabody and JHU students.

Great photos. My spouse used to live in Baltimore so I've spent a lot of time in some of the areas you photographed! It's a great city with so much potential.

It just needs some more infrastructure investment from the state and feds to really get going.
