Agreed let’s migrate now. Datadyne if you set a kickstarter or the like I will contribute to expenses to either buy this database/domain or start anew.

I was having ArchBoston withdrawals. Hallelujah it's working again!
 
I wasnt sure if that was just me or I got banned or something good to see it was just the site lol and not something crazy going on on this end. Glad to see its back up.
 
Relatively new member to archboston. signing up as a member was a huge pain. I would love to see new management of the site / active admins. An upgrade to the forum / site would be icing on the cake.

After recent posts about Briv I thought site was doomed! Really glad site is back up. This really is a fantastic web-site,thanks to all who contribute!
 
I would hope at the very least briv has given someone his contact info after this incident

I'm working on setting something up at archboston.net for when we are ready/forced to move, though I would hate to lose everything here.
 
Great! However, we discussed in the group that any new group must have multiple admins, to avoid the risk of another briv scenario. Would that be something you’d be willing to accommodate?
 
Justin's idea sounds fine. But given this site has such a rich archive, maybe we can come up with some type of way to help pay for it – if better funding is the elixir to keep the site up.

Excuse the hysterics, but Briv's complete abandonment of this place borders on criminal neglect, and it makes me wonder about his well being considering how active, both as an admin and a poster, he used to be. I mean something dramatic must've happened in his life to desert the place like this.

From the Facebook group there may be people skilled enough to migrate the posts to a new platform.
