CX hasn't resumed any construction operations yet. While the (neighboring) GLX work continued for most of the lockdown, CX buttoned up and only has begun some light grounds work since Monday (all they're allowed to do still, I think).

Lovin all this, the architecture, the open areas! I do believe these very attractive, park-like spaces will be especially appreciated and used since the outdoors now seems to be the safest place to safely gather, socialize, and just hang out in this new viral reality we find ourselves in.

Agreed. Those of us who live here are already enjoying the additional openness: basking it the sartorial splendor of the unfinished construction, as it were...The rock park is lit nicely at night and walkers abound around the warrens. It's simple to take the dogs on a 1-3mi walk through the CX-proper loop and out through Northpoint Park and back. Pretty spiff.

An oversight: folks have been clamoring for a small, enclosed dog run for years. TLDR: Avalon promised one under the GLX, when complete, but reneged last year, saying (I'm paraphrasing): meh.

Meanwhile, at annual meetings with CX representatives in attendance, residents asked CX to integrate a fenced area somewhere on the Common. CX declined. So folks formed their own area. And CX just spent the last four days replacing the spent turf in the area that folks proposed for the run. Guess who paid for it? Sierra, Tango, and Twenty|20 (through common area maintenance fees). Guess where the majority of dogs come from: the three Avalon buildings. Guess what fees Avalon pays: $0. ba-da-boom!

Anyway...still love it here. And it's only going to improve.
