Parley Vale Area

What's the story with Parley Ave and Parley Vale having gravel/macadam roads instead of pavement? I can only imagine it's horrendous to get in and out in the winter.

Don't know; but Martinwood Rd in the Acicou/Martinwood/South St neighborhood across from the State Lab building is gravel.
