It's utterly amazing how some of those shots look like they could be taken yesterday but others look far older. Fantastic as usual.

Totally agree. I took the damn photos, I knew that camera pretty damn well, and yet not only do I see the discrepancy but I too am surprised at how some look recent and some ancient. I really don't have an explanation for it.
 
The vehicles do a good job of aging the photos. I remember when they were new and now they look quaint.
