Great shot TC and a perfect idea for its placement but photoshopping The Casco into the photo would void the circle of trust with Paul and the millions of visitors to the airport!
Details like the obsolete Peoples United Bank signage on the Fidelity Building, 511 Congress Street signage has been removed, no Bank of America signage on One Monument Square, pre Cross Arena renovations and the exterior of the Holiday Inn has not been toned down yet which makes this view at least 12 years old. I can be a stickler for details but when you super size a photo and mount it in a high traffic area the out of date items become even more noticeable. And sure, a majority of the public from away would not even notice the differences but if you are going to present the concept to Mr Bradbury it should be current in my opinion. Maine Imaging does have some excellent aerials of the skyline but unfortunately nothing that includes Portland Headlight and Mt Washington that is recent. Happy to help in the future even though Paul has mentioned that he has limited input due to Clear Channel's contract with PWM which does not expire until 2028.
