Raffles Boston (40 Trinity Place) | 426 Stuart Street | Back Bay

Seems like there are more than a few good pix of Raffles that have been posted here.
Yeah I'm hoping someone's got a really good one, I meant to go take some nice ones but I have continually chosen to be lazy lol

In September, had dinner at La Padrona and drinks after at the Long Bar & Terrace. Both are exquisite and provide interesting views looking south and west. So far, it's my fave in the U.S. and that includes the Oak Room in Houston and Intercontinental Hotel in downtown LA (73rd floor options). It's not as much the views as it is the elegant design. Obviously, the food and cocktails here are perhaps second to none.

So, ah, what's up with these lights on Raffles Boston. Didn't see any references to it in the plans or looking through this thread a bit. I see this building every night from my apartment and tonight is the very first time I have seen these lights. Lots of reds, yellows, and blues.

Someone in the Mayor's office is spearheading a Red White and Blue lighting scheme for buildings on the 09/11 remembrance (I'm blanking on his name at the moment).

I'm doing some testing this Sunday in a few of my buildings with lights. I know a few other folks with lighting who plan to do the same next week. Maybe this was a test run by Saunders/Raffles of their LEDs to get the right color temperatures to read properly.

I wonder why they didn’t use blue lighting for the 9/11 anniversary.

Unrelated to Raffles, but One Financial Center wasn’t lit up at all for 9/11, which is very surprising since the nighttime lighting on One Financial Center is frequently used. (Or maybe they did light it up, but I missed it? I only walked by One Financial Center once when it was dark.)
