I think I'll be accumulating a lot of shots like this going forward and no existing thread really seems appropriate for these so I'll make this my dumping spot for these kind of shots.

FYI I'm one of the thousands/millions of people that switched careers amidst the pandemic and now I'm a residential real estate photographer, shooting around 10 properties a week, mostly out in the suburbs. But we just got a new client who's based in the North End and I just did our first two jobs for her Friday, including a trip into the Harbor Towers.

The view from the 6th floor... wish we were a bit higher up!

Did a condo at FP3 aka 348 Congress today. It was at the far eastern end of the building, in the older part

The last two condos seem a bit expensive for what they are. Yeah, I know....market driven prices.

The one at FP3(346 Congress) is priced at $1017/psf so that would be spot on in my book. Only downside is that it’s a third floor unit and doesn’t seem to have a lot of natural light. The Columbus Ave unit comes in in the mid $1400s - better location but an awful layout - probably overpriced by $250-300k.

This dates back to October but I had to shoot a random condo in Woburn (Crescent Park) that had one of the best postmodern lobbies I've ever seen. The unit itself was unremarkable but the ground floor common areas were a perfectly preserved 1989 time capsule. I love a good time capsule from just about any era, and that definitely includes the pomo stuff of my 1980s childhood.

Green marble? Brass detailing? Rectangular, upward-facing wall sconces? Mauve in two tones?? 1984 deliciousness to the max. Could be a side exit to Copley Place I never saw.

I love this house as well, except I think the front of the house (first photo above) could have been a bit more interesting. I've seen many mid-century moderns with a more dynamic curb appeal. But the rest of the house is exceptional, IMO.
