The station is new, so I don't think it will be relocated. However, there are plans to have service go farther north, to Brunswick, which might end up in a new stop, in Bayside, which is essentially downtown. There are also plans to increase the length of the city's narrow guage railroad so that it would pass through a part of bayside and over to the baseball park. Right now, the amtrak station is in an ideal location. It has sprawling surface parking, and to relocate it downtown or near downtown would be very visually out of place.
