Was wondering when someone would do something with this lot. But being at the start of downtown I was expecting something more.. downtowny

Boston-area developer Winterspring Capital LLC is proposing a 111,766 square-foot mixed-use development at 5 Madison St. in Worcester.

What sort of timeline are you looking at for this one?
 
Originally found this to be with DF Pray, but they just backed out of the project. Any news on who's got it now?
 
Good to know! Hoping to bid on countertops for them. Will contact shortly.
 
Building permit for this one was just applied for. Will be great because I'll be able to watch it go up from my office

That area is so underused and has such potential. I hope the surrounding empty (parking) lots get developed soon, and with some height and density.

I think menkiti won the bid for the former rmv site from the state but I haven't heard a peep since..Hopefully they tear it down and build something nice but I'm also waiting for the demholm transfer and construction to happen too from them...
