I think it’s required to keep wheelchairs from rolling off the edge of the raised walkway.

This is a great first step for development of more wetland open spaces like this one. It's small, but at least it sets a precedent and raises awareness. I'd love to see new building complexes and transportation developments include development of wetland spaces like this, but larger. It ties in with the pre-European settlement landscape of Boston/Cambridge/Somerville/Everett, plus provides some management of rising sea levels, and would be great park spaces with boardwalks, etc. as well.

This reminds me alot of the Chinatown park along Atlantic Ave. Small, nicely done and exposed to heavy traffic

Nice, it looks good. It'll be a pleasant place to stroll through on your way to somewhere else. Maybe after the vegetation fills in a bit it'll create a sense of separation from the road noise and entice people to stop and sit.

Blegh. What a missed opportunity to take back some pavement. Perfect spot to close/woonerf Beverly, extend some outdoor seating and maybe a stage with City Winery, and place a capstone sculpture on the Greenway. Instead we get whatever this highway dog park w a chair is...

Who’s been through it? I don’t think you went through it well enough, because a quick Google search shows pine trees in all sorts of cities.

It looks like some of the primary reasons you don’t see more pine trees in cities is that they are tough environments for growing so the hardiest trees are preferred; also, trees with broad leaves like oak provide more shade and cooling.

128-134 North Street, the former Traffic Tunnel Administration Building, has been sold. This abuts the North Bennet Street School located at 150 North Street.
128-134 North Street Abutters Meeting
They want to convert it to a single-family house with a 4-car elevator parking lift.
