We don't have many rules here and I don't think this should be a rule, per se (it would be impossible to enforce anyway), but I think as common courtesy if you have any kind of personal or financial stake in a project on this board you should either disclose that stake or, if that is not possible, refrain from commenting on the project.
Something similar to newspaper's 'full disclosure' ideal.

Just a humble suggestion.
 
It's a good suggestion, but something tells me the people that this thread applies to will never read this. They'll probably Google their way straight to where they need to go and then get the hell outta here.
 
I'm a real estate agent. I will put this in my profile. Beyond that, I may benefit if someone uses me as an agent and buys in one of these developments. That's not a direct cause-effect, so I wouldn't put that type of disclosure in every post.

I agree that anyone working for a developer, sales team, or public relations firm on behalf of a specific development should disclose such affiliation.
