South Boston Infill and Small Developments

Scaffolding is down at 150 West Broadway and they put in a nice new sidewalk for us (and got rid of a curb cut, how rare).

I can't wait to see more parcels around Dot Ave get re-developed.

Anyway I wonder if the state is willing to sell the MBTA bus shelter near Broadway so that it can be transformed into new housing. In my opinion it doesn't make sense to have huge bus shelters right next to train stations, considering how scarce/valuable land in those areas is.

This would be a better place to put a bus shelter.

Agree. This needs to be redeveloped. There are quite a few mbta lots near major transit stops (south end, south Boston, forest hills) that would make great, massive mixed use developments.
