“The proposed development at 65-79 Wareham Street would renovate and vertically expand three underutilized buildings with a six-story, approximately 38-unit multi-family residential building located in the South End’s EDA South sub-district and in the Protection Area of the South End Landmark District. The project includes a fully accessible ground floor artist live-work component comprising five affordable live-work units designed specifically to support artists, paired with a multi-purpose gallery and cafe space with direct access to a rear courtyard. A below-grade parking garage will include approximately 38 bike parking spaces and 16 vehicle parking spaces for residents and 9 curbside bike spaces for visitors.”
