South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

I very much appreciate this isn't another blue-glassed tower, we've had enough of those lately

😅 If the money wasn't in the residential floors yet to come, perhaps we'd all genuinely worry.
I think spiting most (all) of us, would be worth it.

Press Release:
"FAA decided it was actually in the 400' Zone - SO SOORRRY Archboston.org/com. Enjoy this fatter, shorter than One Congress, glass nightmare'

'And no the expanded arch concourse is not going all the way to Summer Street. You get that one arch way under the core. And no we aren't renovating inside either. Deal with it.'

Looks like the fire proofing of the steel frame is going well so far!!! :)

And there will be no crown lighting and it turns out we have to demolish a bit of the historic south station headhouse. Sorry.

What part of the historic South Station headhouse will be demolished? Not doubting what you said, just a bit alarmed.

That gray wall on Atlantic for the bus station is the Borg cube made real. Unfortunate they couldn’t add some texture or fake glazing or something. Hopefully it’s not final…

It's future phase-dependent on whether we're stuck with that or not. I think the "hotel" (yellow) and "mid rise" (green) presented in the image below will break up/ obscure a lot of this if/when built

Where is this taken? It's not Atlantic Avenue. Is it behind the Post Office or from the top of the old parking garage?
