St. Gabriel Monastery | Washington St | Brighton

Beeline, your postings today from your jaunt through Brighton has been great. I'd been meaning to check on the Washington St. corridor, since there was a ton of housing proposed there just before the pandemic. It's great to see that most/all of it is moving forward. Hopefully the GL B-branch upgrades will be a success, making this area a solid housing option for many.

There's a graveyard here, 50 or so of the monastery priests going back more than 100 years. A dog run has been built right next to it. Kind of disrespectful? Maybe. It's open with shrubbery on 3 of it's borders but I'd like to see it fenced in so it's protected from the rest of the site like the cemetery on the Common. That would be a good thing to do at this point.

Thee last of the condo buildings at Overlook appears to be ready to open.

Once the port-a-potties are gone this will be a great view.

Good to see lots of people waking around the development, very active. Some practice event was going on at the church / common space. Good to see the building was renovated.
