Staid Boston Gets an Architectural Wake-Up Call

Yeah, it is a cliche-ish article stereotyping Boston as a straight-laced hick town that has all of a sudden become architecturally daring. Boston, Cambridge and the metro area has had cutting edge architecture since at least WW-II. There were so many really cool mid-century modern houses and buildings put up in the 50s, and so many exciting modern office and university buildings put up in the 60s (and I'm NOT talking about the urban renewal fiascos in GC and the West End).
