Very true. That back brick buildinf still had functioning business in it. But after all this wait I'm just glad something is being done with the lotI really wish they were able to save some of these old industrial buildings as part of the project. I know a couple were far too gone, but 3 or 4 rows of mixed new and refurbed industrial buildings with the alleys in-between them would seem so much nicer than the large....blob they're plonking down in this project.

The brick buildings on Arctic Steet will not be torn down. Yes the small parcels will narrow alleys would have provided an interesting urban fabric, but old industrial buildings don’t easily lend themselves to be converted into desirable one and two bedrooms. There have been other demolitions in this town that I’m still more upset about.
