From this morning:

PSA to anyone getting photos from the Garage: There's a gaggle of seagulls using the top of the Temple St. garage as a nesting ground for their newborn chicks, and they're VERY defensive if you get too close!!

That's awesome about the seagull chicks! ISTR they usually nest on barren rocks out in the middle of the ocean.
 
I was escorted by the seagulls during my last visit to the top of the garage also and the chicks were on the roof of the staircase closest to Federal Street. Hope they are excited about the new tower and the prospect of having a higher place to perch above the city!

Yes, but that's not saying much, or as far as tall buildings go. 18 stories is only one higher than Franklin "Towers" (or from the western side, that is).

Would have at least liked to have hit 20 to 24 stories but just glad to see something beyond 14 stories being built. Hopefully within the next 10 years we surpass the 20 story mark!
 
Exceeding the 200' mark in total height and the building's placement in the skyline is more important to me than the actual floor count. It will also appear to be much taller than Franklin Towers do to its approximate 30' advantage in elevation.
