thats not hypocritical at all about the crack comments cause i dont give a fuck if ablarc smokes crack... im just saying you shouldnt joke about it yourself because its kinda like saying i wanna die or i wanna suck dick for crack.... he obviously doesnt understand the levity of crack. i do, and therefore half wished it upon him because he likes to show off to the world how hes a eccentric genius when he obviously just tries too hard. that shits annoying.

and if they're building a parking lot. its cuz they fucking need parking.

parking lots and parking garages is splitting hairs and is really a trifling subject to be talking about, seriously. they are both ugly, get over it.

Bobby: Ablarc is an architect and is easily one of the most knowledgeable people here, and he's not posting just to prove how smart he is. Obviously you're not here to do that either, but maybe it'd help your case because honestly it wouldn't surprise me if you said you were drunk every time you've posted on this board. Oh, and please use fuck and shit more in each of your posts -- it adds wonders to your enlightened comments.

all im sayin is there is REALLY no reason to talk in such a proper manner... a conversational tone will do just fine. i really find it hard to believe he talks like that to his friends/family. if your smart, well established, prestigious, powerful. influential. etc... you dint have to show off. Ive met enough down to earth mega millionaires to know.

congrats on him being an architect.. it DOES NOT mean i have to sit on the edge of my seat for his every word. and it definitely doesn't mean he's right. motherFUCKER ignores functionality. economics. feasibility. etc etc... theres my F bomb for the post.

i apologize for picking up on the crack analogy.

but i have to defend ablarc here, BD. i don't really care if you don't like how he posts, or what his opinion is. he has contributed a great deal to the general discourse over a long period of time and is welcome -- even if/when he's wandering around in left field. basically he's earned the right for us to read whatever he cares to post. i think that's the way these communities work, right?

so, please tone it down a notch. thanks.

and i still disagree about the parking lots. i'd prefer people to drive to a transportation hub and park there. may be a bit unrealistic for boston given the way our rapid transit is radial, but it is a worthwhile goal.

in the meantime, garages, preferably below grade... that's a possible requirement that would cost developer's money that would be an unquestionable value to the surrounding neighborhood -- unlike some of the current mandates which are frequently arguable.

First off i did that because its a pretty abstract thing that i didnt think people on here would catch on to. And RZA is a VERY talented individual, if you agree with him or not... nothing wrong with being groudbreaking and influential.

I don't disagree with the above. I actually have his Liquid Bullets CD as well as some older stuff.

I was just giving you shit, it's nothing personal. I guess the main point is people's names don't really mean anything. It's the content and way that they interact with others on the board.
