Wow what a miserable location

Lots of people don't want to be in the thick of things - 5 yrs living in a thriving corner of JP was one of the loudest, smelliest, ultimately most frustrating experiences for me - so it's nice that this option exists for those who want to be out there but not out there where they tip the cows.
 
This place is 5 minute bike ride from Forest Hills Station. Similarly close to Franklin Park and the Arboretum. And there's an ongoing project to fix up American Legion Highway. Phase 1 turned a bunch of it into 1 car lane and 1 wide, buffered bike lane in each direction. Don't know what's up with Phase 2, but things are improving.

I agree, it's a pretty *ahem* dead part of town. But >100 units near the T is great. Maybe, hopefully, there's more to come.
 
There seems to be movement towards redeveloping a lot of the crappy land uses around here with a couple developments approved right up the street next to the state public health campus.
