The Smarter City - IBM

You've probably seen the commercials on TV, and now IBM has an entire flash website dedicated to their city systems. Essentially, they propose networking all the civic functions of a city together to make them run more efficiently. While I have no hope of any of this incredibly realistic, efficient, and logical technology used in Boston, I can hope that other cities might take advantage of it. At the very least, I'm glad that companies are dedicating more resources to cities and promoting them as a whole.
