Town and City Nicknames

Marshfield did [have a casino], but it burnt down.

I happily stand corrected. But I'm wondering, was this a gambling casino? There was a time when this word just meant a place of entertainment, not necessarily one where gambling took place. (For example, the 'Casinos' of Hampton Beach, NH and Catalina Island, CA)
 
^I have no idea now that you mention it. I always assumed, but I didn't really understand the range of the word to be honest. I'll try look into it.

Hadn't heard that one. But I have heard "The Garden City"... a Blum and a Rose on every corner.
