I'd call the closest BY building to this (808 Windsor) a glass box, yes, though the immediate neighbors from both USQ and BY haven't been designed yet. This building will be dominated by its neighbor down Webster that will be roughly as tall as 50 Prospect. Maybe that one will be glass.
 
I don't mind the look of these new buildings (except the air conditioner thing in BY)
Sure they could be better but I like that they're avoiding the total glass curtain wall so far.
There's plenty of that in CX/Kendall.
