Urban Mountain Biking in Seattle

This is so damn cool. Where in Boston could something like this be implemented? A unregulated zone where bikers could takeover and make their own playground?

Because some drunk asshole college kid would break his neck, and then the city/police would destroy the place or keep everyone away, if not shut it down before something like that even happens.

I was thinking the same exact thing, but most of it is already roads, hardscape, etc, right? Except for that grassy circle with no access on the northern side...

HOLY SHIT THAT IS INSANELY AWESOME! I like Mt. Biking (not much better than just riding trails, but I appreciate it. This is awesome! Boston has SO many places it could go. What about that "skate park" under the Zakim? This thing is probably wicked popular with the local bikers it looks awesome even to just look at it.
