Finally got a chance to go splorin' with some chill people on Sunday.

We drove about 2 hours to get here but well worth the trip. Parked and walked up the hill and we got right inside.

About an hour later we heard a Crown Vic driving up and down the road. We sat tight and after about 15 minutes we heard the Crown Vic Idle and car doors open and close.

Turnt out only to be a local LEO and so they decided we were probably not worth chasing so they drove away.

Here are my shots. I have more and will add them either tonight or tomorrow.

Enjoy. Gear : Canon 40D (no tripod) I NEED to bring one next time . . .

In no particuliar Order.

Awesome pictures, can't wait to see more.

When I opened this thread, though, I expected it to be an article talking about how some state school in Connecticut had started an Urban Exploration Photography Program or something of the like.

I hope you wore a respirator on that shoot.

Niceeeeeee. :D

Good shots. 4th one is interesting: How long has this place been abandoned?

I would have thought this was just another mental institution from #6. Heh.
