Maine Cooperative Development / Szanton Partners has submitted its Master Plan for the West School redevelopment on Douglas St. to the planning board.

The plan calls for 120 residential units spread across 7 townhome-style buildings and one 5-story, 63 unit apartment building.

The project is planned to break ground later this year, with a targeted completion date of mid-2024.

When I was going to St. Pat's, West School was said to have rat issues given that it's built on a former dump. Hopefully they're aware and planning to do any necessary re-sealing.
