Why does Boston have a monopoly on height?

Is the Bayside Expo site on Logan flight paths? Columbia Point would make an ideal Canary Wharf-style development (assuming Boston needs or wants one?), with its T and freeway access.
 
There is actually a pretty sizable tower along the Jamaica Plain way. Maybe some more height could go around there.
 
^ NIMBYs would deploy their unbeatable "traffic on the Jamaicaway" argument.
 
It would be since the only public transportation near by are buses. Boston doesn't really have the infrastructure for high density outside of Downtown unless it's along the Red or Orange Line

Face to face interaction between two different industries or businesses. Similar to a law firm to a courthouse. That's why most law firms are located in the CBDs.
