Why is Boston So Ugly?

I would love to see the horrible aging concrete on the Longfellow and Harbor Towers painted in a mix of pastel blue, red, navy, or winter green, maybe even on alternating walls. Anything to reduce their dead soulless look.

When I think of re-cladding a brutalist building it makes me think of the Grenfill Tower fire in London.

I really like the result with adding color on a couple of midrises in Miami from the late 60's~early 70's. They pulled it off. The Boston towers need the right colors. The Tuscan, brick or brownish colors might be adding too much of the same Tuscan, brick and brownish colors.
