I love that alley. Too bad it only leads (if memory serves) to the parking lot wasteland behind Central Sq.

If memory doesn't serve, then my complaint about that parking lot wasteland stands.

A couple from earlier in the year

Color....I love black and white as much as the next person (and probably more so) but that neon needs COLOR!

Speaking of black and white, I love the by-now-vintage phone sign:

And speaking of signs...

Also, I wasn't going to post this pic here, but I just found out that this sight is a pretty common one in Brookline:

And this is on Yahoo.com right now: http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blog...line-mass-222025142--abc-news-topstories.html

Wild Turkeys Overrun Brookline, Mass.

Wild turkeys have been a strange but common sight in suburban and even urban areas in metropolitan Boston for some time, but some residents of nearby Brookline say the birds are becoming more common and increasingly aggressive in their town.

^ Yup. They've been a menace on my old street for at least 6 or 7 years now...

Nice sunset yesterday; tried an HDR thing on it. (i.e., lots of Photoshop involved)

That's a pretty damn good HDR, piggiston. On the whole I've still yet to warm up to HDR, but when someone actually uses it tastefully (e.g. doesn't make it look like some cotton candy artifice) it can be quite powerful.

But no HDR for me!

For the car nuts, check out the old Checker Marathon done up in gloss black --------------------------------^

First pic looks like a flying bird made out of fire. Hehe.

The first one looks like a luminescent woman swimming, doing a backstroke, and the second one looks like Jesus ascending into heaven.
