🔹 What's Happening With Project X?

Anybody hear any rumblings on the Fenway Gulf that Star Market purchased? It's been closed up for over a year and they still haven't even demolished the abandoned pumps.

If Star Market truly just wanted the lot for new parking, wouldn't they have done that by now? We're now into our second Red Sox season at Fenway since the deal closed.

I read this lack of activity to imply that there are bigger things going on behind the scenes. If you spend $17 million to build a parking lot, you build the damn parking lot. But if you're planning on building a building, then it makes sense to sink money into a parking lot that'll only be temporary.

3 weeks until the deadline and still no news on South Station Tower. I bet the next thing we hear is an extension through December (followed by another one, and another one, and another one....).

Looks like my source was good. I actually heard Tim Cook loves the Greenway. (Already envision the BIG A--on the Greenway)

APPLE announces it will open a new flagship-like campus in the United States, an effort seemingly similar to a smaller version of the project widely known as Amazon HQ2; Boston is believed to be a top potential location.

IT'S TIME TO INVEST SOME SERIOUS MONEY IN OUR TRANSPORTATION/INFRASTRUCTURE GRID in Boston.

Cable cars renders:

Another cool thing with this render is the show the hotels by the cruise ship terminal also. I thought the second one was behind the first one on Summer st. where the cable car station is, didn't realize it was diagonal from it.

A loooot of those are coming this cycle. Theres no end in sight so far. Id give it at least 2 more years until we find out what the economy does after Trumps economic policies are in place and functioning and now affecting the global economy. Its gonna take a little bit, but well know when we get there how its looking.

Pretty cool looking...wonder how the residents will react...

I live on the opposite end of the neighborhood, so my opinion is of less weight than those abutting it. I dig the materials, but the facade articulation needs some work. The scale doesn't bother me at all, but it'll surely insight a riot when presented at a community meeting.

not really sure where to put this but are a couple of time lapsed videos showing the work that has been going on at the christian science reflecting pool and mass ave lawn

http://www.workzonecam.com/projects/consigli/christian/workzonecam

1) So.. pretty much all they've managed to do over 590 days is raise the pool floor to make it shallower (a shame) and add some tile to most of the footprint??

2) Unrelated, but watching the time lapse made me realize even more so that Boston weather is horrendous most of the year.. yet I still choose to be here. Must be some punishment fetish or something.

They literally have been doing nothing. It's insane. Finally the project has picked up a bit, but this is a joke. Won't be done until next summer is my guess.

Even more of a joke if 1 Dalton will be done before this is.
