This is one of the few examples I can think of in which colossal order is actually a plus. Maybe because verticality is still emphasized? Why does it work here better than it does for Atlantic Wharf?

Check out View 3 and you'll see 2 things are happening at the top. First, there is a steel separator now across the middle of the final poured floor, effectively splitting it into 2. That matches up to the renders and allays my confusion there at the one giant poured floor. Second, there is steel showing up above the final pour, on the far side of this view. Right now it's obvious on the upper right corner, but depending on when you see this link it might be fully obvious. That top-level steel is for the mech and will bring this to approximately 485' (I have also seen 487'), or 24th tallest in the city. The 2 buildings it will be jumping are the taller Ritz Carlton tower at Millennium Place at 475', and 225 Franklin Street, which most of you know as the old State Street Bank tower before 1 Lincoln, at 477'.

Also the grid on the facade breaks and were going to get a glass crown. Should “wrap it up” nicely. The pictures above make it look like the grid is going to continue to the roof, but luckily it wont. It should bring everything together nicely, it connects the roof to the glass strip on the side.

Amazing -- it went from this [view from the 6th floor MOS] when even the core was obscured by the foreground buildings

to essentially a view which looks like the above architectural rendering in less than one year [and that included the interruption due to the COVIID-19 Pandemic lockdown]
