Really great to see more of the 330 neos rolling out. I believe Delta is configuring all of them with Delta ONE, yes?

Dominican airline Arajat apparently plans to add flights to Boston. They weren't on my list of the most likely entrants.

In not shocked at all. Greater Boston has the 2nd or 3rd largest Dominican population in USA. Massachusetts has the fourth largest on state by state basis - RI and CT are 6th and 7th. They also have plans to hub at both Santo Domingo and Punta Cana to Latin America and Caribbean. It will be interesting if Punta Cana finally gets pre clearance.

In the Massport board meeting slide deck, they reported a few things of note:

Logan had 43.5 million passengers in 2024, the busiest year ever
JetBlue, with the recently announced seasonal service starting this year, will offer non-stop service to 77 destinations. This is the most of any carrier at Logan.
Massport is projecting 53 million passengers in the 2032-2037 time frame.

Worcester had its highest passenger count in 34 years.

Arajet announces Boston-Santo Domingo (DR) flights 4xweekly, starting November.

Just checked the website. They put the lobster emoji next to Boston. Schedule may not be good for connections in Santo Domingo. I couldn't book any connections yet.

LEVEL has canceled it route from Barcelona to Boston. Delta will now be the sole operator.

Not surprising. My partner recently flew KLM from AMS to BOS and said that it was mostly empty.

The article is light on details. Level has not announced cutting their service to Boston and you can still book flights through March 2026, which is when the winter schedules for airlines run through. I see them running 5 weekly through December, then 4 weekly for January 2026 through March 2026 on their website.

If it does get cut, I'd expect them to announce it as they begin to set their NS 2026 schedules, which should happen in a few months.

Boston-New Bedford flights start 9/29 on CapeAir: https://flyewb.com/?fbclid=IwY2xjaw...ZZtibm5TJQJmzdwpkw_aem_uz5iQcxHb6dS-6qZYvMS7A

I honestly don't know what the plan is here. Granted, they don't need huge volume to make it work, and maybe it's a way to utilize equipment during the offseason, but I can't imagine the demand for this route is all that significant.
I would assume it is mostly a connection feed for destinations only available from Logan (versus Green). Ground travel time from South Coast MA to Logan is pretty unreliable.

Good point. A Jetblue feed in particular.

If you live in New Bedford and want to go to Europe this is actually a reasonable way to get there.

Parking at Logan is now $41/day ($10 at EWB). This is $100 each way. Driving takes about 1.5 hours. EWB will have a TSA checkpoint. With 9 seats there's far less uncertainty about when you need to arrive at the airport. Cape Air interlines and codeshares with nearly everyone. PVD's only service to JFK is 1 JetBlue flight and doesn't currently have any service to Europe or EWR.

Cape Air is also going to fly 4 daily to Islip Long Island and also flying Norwood-Vineyard/Nantucket for summer season.
