Cambridge has a pretty decently impressive skyline already - especially for a city of its size. But to really go next level, they'd need 3-4 five hundred footers.Cambridge is finally going to have a “proper” skyline once this thing is completed, compared to now where its more like a tech campus or satellite neighborhood like the seaport. Should hopefully look like a proper downtown across the river.
Yea I think itll depend on how visible it is from across the charles. This and the taller residential at R3 at Volpe are really going to move the skyline from a seaport equivalent type of satellite tech campus skyline, to more of a skyline that stands on its own imo. Not only from a height perspective but also with how much denser its going to be at ground level as well once volpe is filled in.Cambridge has a pretty decently impressive skyline already - especially for a city of its size. I was down here today as well and the flurry of construction activity around this block/side of Kendall is really impressive.
