Another skyline view of this diminutive gem of urbanity!
Near the college campus there was tons of activity and life but it got pretty run down once you got out of the core. They had a minor boom again when shale gas went nuts in the early 2010's but unfortunately it was a flash in the pan. So many incredible houses in the surrounding hills that are kind of just rotting away but I remember Lemoyne Ave (the brick one) being absolutely gorgeous. I ran up and down that street every day I was thereIt is and thank you! Pretty impressive for a city of only 13,176.![]()

I ended up in Washington for work and I remember being shocked at how much was going on downtown...
Uniontown is another southwestern Pennsylvania city with a small population (9,984) that exceeds expectations when it comes to its downtown area.
