Milton infill and small development

I think more housing is a bigger priority than getting the location exactly right but I do not for the life of me understand the prioritization of East Milton for dense development over land along the trolley

Depending on windows and other insulation in the walls, the car noise may be mitigated pretty well already. That coupled with the elevation of the units above the traffic will also help. The 355 Bennington project in East Boston is also right up against a busy roadway and the car noise is very well mitigated through windows and wall insulation.

I really wish, in an alternative reality with unlimited funds, for this stretch of I-93 to be lowered, and then covered with a parkway similar to the Big Dig in Boston.
 
They capped a large section of the X-Way in East Milton right next to this in the 1980's and built a park but it would be great if they did a parkway like design
