View Boston (Observatory) | Prudential Tower | Back Bay

My daughter (9yo at the time) and I tried it. It wasn't nearly as scary as we expected. Some of the rides at the top of the Stratosphere in Vegas, on the other hand... Stratosphere Thrill Rides Las Vegas (vegastotherescue.com)

    Reconstruction of State Street Plan

As someone who has lurked on this site for a long time now (only posting occasionally) I just have to say this was my favorite digression yet. Nice work all!

    The New Retail Thread

They seem really excited about the heated seats. Maybe it's just me, but I don't get it. If the building is heated, why the need for the heated seats? It's not like getting into a car that has been sitting in freezing temperatures. Regardless, this seems like a nice addition for the seaport.

    The New Retail Thread

If you stand at the right spot, you can actually see all three at once. I tried it yesterday. (A real high point of my day.) I can't imagine they'll keep all three open. Public Food Market | 136 Blackstone Street | Haymarket | Downtown

Re: Public Food Market The garage doesn't actually occupy that much space on the ground floor. You drive in and immediately go up a ramp. There's no ground floor parking.

Charles Place | Harvard Square | Cambridge

I was walking by the site of the former Chili's in Harvard Square and noticed a banner for a new project, Charles Place. Anyone heard anything about this? http://www.charlesplacecambridge.com/ I can't really tell where this is in the approval process. Looks like every other new building to...

    Harvard LEED Platinum classroom

I suspect you'd agree that yours isn't an entirely fair comparison, Jass. Nevertheless, you're right that we should keep some perspective on these things.
