There has been a recent attempt to get 19 Kenton Road across the street landmarked to forestall the possibility of the existing property getting demolished/redeveloped. That said, I don't know if that effort has directly affected this project at all.

Not sure where else to put this, but the South End Walgreens on Washington Street is closing on July 15. The Facebook rumor mill is a poor place get information from, but they're claiming that shrinkage is at least partially driving the decision. CVS also recently closed their store at the...
