Yes, the colors are muted and complement each other. It's not a mishmash of crazy garish colors and oddball shapes like some recently.I dont think these look bad at all. Its not all haphazard like some other examples, here the different colors just make it look like multiple buildings that are abutting each other. Thats how it should be done. Looks fine, and once it all comes together this is going to be a massive improvement.

While I don't exactly expect BHA to match private sector costs, I'd hope for them to get a bit closer. BHA is doing a lot right, from explicitly focusing on improved lifetime development finances to embracing mixed-income buildings, but those construction costs are going to hamstring just how much they can build.
