Does anybody know what the deal is with the large solitary balcony on the right side?

per post #1430 from Lrfox's tour during construction, that's a 2br unit and the only one on that side with a balcony. no explanation was offered as to why that's the sole south(ish) side balcony, though.

Anyone know what the function of that little white crane on top of the building is? My hope is always that it's installing some cool lighting. The lighting on this building so far is the worst.

I would guess it's probably the window washing rig or something similar.

I walk by this frequently and never even realized (or forgot) there was vacant retail space. Well, it’s currently under construction for the “Boston Urban Market” opening October 1. Especially since Pace cleared out of the West End, this is actually a great development, because it could really activate this area beyond just hordes of commuters on foot passing through.
