Tentative plan is to upgrade to Xenforo this weekend. Will require the site to be down for a few hours. Will let you all know when.

Let me get to the photo issue. We've never sold a photo in the 17 years that I've run UT. The photos belong to the members. The occasional request for a photo has been referred to the member in question. The same will happen here. We do however use photos from the forum on the UT news pages...

Moderation is what I'm working on.

Not sure what kind of response you want. UT works. archBOSTON needs work. What you are getting into is what I mentioned above. The forum will be upgraded and moderated properly. New members will be able to join. Trolls will be banned. And so forth. That's the plan.

I think my first post in this thread is fairly clear about my plans. My intention is to improve the site. Lots that can be done to make it a stronger resource. Take a close look at UrbanToronto to see what can be done.

This isn't a small forum. A lot of members and content from many years. Will take some time to upgrade properly. Have some patience. You're funny!
