10 World Trade | BGI Office Tower (Massport Parcel A2) | Seaport

I vaguely recall that they studied that during design--maybe saw something in a public presentation? If not, shame on them.

American Repertory Theater | 175 North Harvard Street | Allston

Respectfully disagree--the housing seems fine but the theater is really under developed. It looks like they are trying to make an old building. It's really disappointing given how great the ART facility in Harvard Square is.

Oxford Office Bldg. | 125 Lincoln St | Leather District

I think the concern about over building lab is legitimate. And labs have much larger floor plates than even office buildings, so they are just really bulky and hard to reuse.

MGM Music Hall (née Fenway Theater) | 12 Lansdowne St | Fenway

This is one of the places in the city that is zoned for electronic signage for that very reason.

Dot Block | Dot Ave, Greenmount St, Hancock St | Dorchester

There is so much about this that is really great. Minor gripe, I drove through the temporary intersection at Pleasant and Hancock. It is chaos. There doesn't seem to be any signage helping people get through there before the lights are on. This is Boston, people aren't going to treat...

Lyrik Back Bay | 1001 Boylston Street (Parcel 12) | Back Bay

I think it's just me, but I find it so sad that Boston is allowing so much building branding now. I took the WalkBoston architecture boat tour recently and it was so striking how the seaport has all of these signs everywhere. Admittedly on buildings that can be hard to tell apart

    Logan Airport Capital Projects

OT, but what is up with Dublin? I flew through there twice in September and was baffled by how such a small airport can also be so confusing. Definitely better than going through Heathrow or Schiphol but really odd.

Nubian Sq. Parcel P-3 (nee Tremont Crossing) | Roxbury

This is disappointing. While I didn't love either proposal, Tishman's felt more urbanistic. And the history on this site is really tough

Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I'm hopeful that the new energy codes will result in more interesting facades (meaning not all glass).

Packard Crossing Phase II | 45-55 Brighton Ave | Allston

It is interesting that this was designed by Hacin + Associates, which is the firm that arguable does the best contemporary design in brick in Boston.

    121 Seaport Boulevard | Parcel L2 | Seaport Square

I've heard that WS, when they took over the Seaport, decided to redo the park to match their other landscape (block L) we'll see if they keep the really cool boat feature

The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Yes, while I'm excited we are getting an Alamo Drafthouse in Boston, that location in the Seaport is not as good as the former Arclight location. I would assume there was a bidding war for them between the two developers--but being on two T lines is so much better than being in the transit...

Power House | 108 3rd Avenue | Charlestown Navy Yard

If you read any of the historic documents on this building, it was determined that it needed to be demolished back in the 1970s. The finances that make that work have just caught up. It's full of toxins and extremely deteriorated. Not everything old needs to be saved. Let's focus that...

Canopy by Hilton (née Haymarket Hotel) | Blackstone St | Parcel 9 | Greenway

Yes! I think that is often a really great goal
