    Thread marked-as-read cookie issues

Alright, seriously, is there anything we can do about this issue? Also, semi-related, I've never had this happen this way before, but I just logged in and the forum shows no new posts even though there's numerous new posts from today.

    🔹 What's Happening With Project X?

There is literally no work going on right now. Even tangentially related projects have either finished or are no longer being worked on. The only thing which *might* still be ongoing is the Millers River-related drainage projects, but I believe those have also concluded or stopped.

    Logan Airport Capital Projects

Is there a map showing specifically which areas are grouped together post-security? Also, what is the plan for inter-terminal transportation once all terminals are linked together post-security? If you had to transfer from A to E, that's a hell of walk. Would you just have to leave and re-enter?

    Imagine Boston 2030

Nice, I really like the idea. Especially for this location, it is the gateway to Eastie from the city. You'll find a lot of push-back on removing the parking (unless you were planning on linear curb parking). I personally think it would be just fine with a taxi stand, pick-up/drop-off zones, and...

    Silver Line to Chelsea

Adding some poles doesn't put a dent in electrifying the commuter rail system. Most of your commuter rail electrification costs come from undercutting the track bed and raising bridges in order to have sufficient clearances.

You and MS Paint are amazing, thank you. But then why is One Kendall Sq up above Mechanic Sq?

Can someone straighten this out for me... The Kendall Sq area is really confusing for me. What block or intersection is actually Kendall Sq? Which block is Cambridge Center? Which block or intersection is Technology Sq? Which intersection is Mechanics Sq?

That's because there's way less pedestrians. As someone who drives and walks in the area, it isn't bad. Everyone is super cautious because of the lack of signal control. People would be bombing down the street if they get lit up with green lights.

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

Re: Offical City Hall Plaza Proposals It is unlikely Cornhill can be fully established as it once was. However, as you said, swing it a little further out towards City Hall for the intersection with Congress St. Another alternative is to just bang a turn at One Washington and go down the former...

Encore Boston Harbor Casino | 1 Broadway | Everett

Re: Wynn Everett Casino | Everett Improve transit and create more Mystic/Harbor crossings. The cycling path network is nearing completion, but the biggest hurdles are the need for at least two bridges. It'd also be nice to figure out where these 5 cycling arterials are going once they all...

    Whats left to build on?

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

Re: Offical City Hall Plaza Proposals Re-establish Hanover St and Cornhill. Make Cornhill woonerfed and allow Sears Crescent businesses to set up tables and seating on either side. Make a few parking spaces for food trucks only along both Hanover and Cornhill. Make Tremont St a two-way road...

    Sullivan Square Superstation/Transport Hub

That would be very undesirable. For one, there's not enough to room to wedge platforms in for all of the tracks there. Two, if you're reasonably close to Community College for a transfer, you're also in the middle of an interlocking where trains are supposed to be changing tracks and shuffling...

My thoughts exactly. It is like throwing "parking garage" and "greenspace" in together with residential somehow makes it smart growth.

John for Deeds Campaign Kick-off Party

I haven't received anything for the upcoming election, but yesterday I did receive fliers for two different candidates for Register of Deeds. I find it odd that that is all I have received this cycle so far. Anyway, they were promptly shredded in the name of John Keith.
