    MBTA Buses & Infrastructure

And even then, the SL buses didn't have it for the entire route until recently also...and if we're being really precise, they still don't have bus lanes south of melnea cass to nubian station

    MBTA Buses & Infrastructure

Yeah, I would love to see bus lanes extend from BHA to Seaver-Columbus; Warren to Nubian, and Columbia to Mass Ave. They are all wide enough streets to handle it.

    Roxbury Infill and Small Developments

Great to see greater density coming to this bus corridor (two of the fare free buses go by here).

Dorchester Bay City (nee Bayside Expo Ctr.) | Columbia Point

I just wish there was greater connection over 95/the tracks into that side of Dorchester. It really cuts this area off, making it harder to be a walkable community when its so isolated. Some pedestrian bridges could really help. I would also love to see bike lanes down Morrisey towards Savin Hill.

    MBTA Buses & Infrastructure

Was looking for a list/map of all bus lanes across MBTA but couldn't find anything so made a quick version in google maps. Let me know if I'm missing anything! Might add prospective/proposed lanes too. https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1YNJ5vnmCjVGLLohgL2Qwt-v_jns&usp=sharing

Skanska Office Tower | 380 Stuart Street | Back Bay

I think some more outdoor seating for the cafe/restuarant would help with that too. This would be a pretty easy spot to keep heated outside during the winter too...👀

1400 Boylston Street | Star Market & Gulf | Fenway

so they would get rid of the star market? I know there's the target right there but idk I hate to see fewer grocery stores in the city :'(

BU Data Sciences Center | 665 Commonwealth Avenue | BU Central

Wassn't even considering the verizon tower but it sort of fits. I was considering the multipe examples in cambridge, the one in Seaport, the proposal for the BB garage. I get the idea of creating a vernacular within a city but why this one 😩

BU Data Sciences Center | 665 Commonwealth Avenue | BU Central

It looks cool now but stacked boxes is also such a Boston gimmick now that I'm like

    Boston Parking Lots

South Bay has got to be the largest single surface parking lot left in the CoB, and that's not even including the Stop and Shop parking lot. I have never seen this lot even come close to being full. I wonder if part of the outer edges of the lot could be redeveloped, while retaining the central...

Crescent Parcel | 1125 Tremont St | Roxbury

When they actually match the neighborhood character, but the neighborhood character is a dorm from the 2000s.

Yes I need her to remove christine from chair, regardless of any of the zoning reforms that are also needed.

And it should come as no surprise that two members of the ZBA (including the chair) live down the street from where this would be... So infuriating.

Nubian Sq. Parcel P-3 (nee Tremont Crossing) | Roxbury

Yeah this is one of the most well connected parts of the city (OL, E Branch, and bus hub at Nubian Sq), close to a grocery store and lots of retail. You could have a lot of good housing right there. I don't think it needs to be a retail heavy space like in the last iteration.

New Red and Orange Line Cars

Ok but they're not a slippery as the Blue Line seats...

    Reasonable Transit Pitches

Not sure if this is the best place for this (and can't really search for a better one with the search function still broken) but... I was wondering if anyone else thought it would be worthwhile having a better pedestrian connection across the highway from Andrew Station to South Bay. They are...

    Roslindale Infill and Small Developments

Yeah I would say the bus frequency was ten times better than the orange line. I could get from Rozzie sq. to Forest Hills in about two minutes but then I'd wait at least 10 minutes for a train

can still go to the Rialto barber tho! Apparently that was a thing all over too?--Rialto theater/barber duo. I went last year and she said there used to be a back entrance between the barber and the theater so you could get your haircut and catch a movie after.
