Sorry for being a little late to the thread, but I work at the BSA and can provide some pointers to the whys and hows... in short, for any official updates on the new space, we regularly post at Wordpress: http://bsahq.wordpress.com/ Sicilian hit the nail on the head regarding renting vs...

Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

Re: South Boston Seaport Morton's is pretty much staffed and ready to go. They were (are still?) holding test meals and I imagine they will open very soon.

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

My opinion of it may also be too low. I'm sure that 5-10 years from now the Greenway will be a respected part of the city. I suppose that after the immense ugliness and effort of the elevated highway and construction, I would want to see an equally immense "awesomeness" come of it.

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

Can somebody point me to the history of the North End parks, or at least the design philosophy behind them? If you walk around the open one, it turns a very ugly back on the North End. There is nothing for humans on that one side, not even a sidewalk. What was the idea behind that?

Columbus Center: RIP | Back Bay

I know that some of you find the numbered questions/answers to be condescending, but it's the best way for Ned to present his ideas.

    Are there renderings for this?

New England Revolution Stadium | 173 Alford Street | Boston-Everett

This would be slick. I'm still not sure how to get to Gillette to see a Rev's game if I don't have my car in Boston.

    Apple Store Thread ][

Am I the only one not understanding the article's title? It says the store got the "green light", but then says "the commission... denied for now last night's proposal". -ALJ

    CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THIS?!?!?!?!

I like where Bowesst is going... if you were behind glass, it could be a reflection from a light (or IR) on your camera or in the room behind you.

    CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THIS?!?!?!?!

    1. It could also be a lens artifact from the very bright light to the left in the picture. Sort of a lens flare. 2. Or perhaps a red strobe on the belly of a plane reflecting oddly off the underside of the hull and wings? -ALJ

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

    Rose Kennedy Greenway

This link probably won't answer all your questions, but it will give you the 'big picture': http://www.massturnpike.com/bigdig/parks/greenway.html As for the museums and YMCA, I'm not sure. I do know that The New Center for Arts and Culture has about 25% of the money needed and is busy...

Mission Hill Parcel 25 | Tremont St @ Roxbury Crossing

Me... Boston and Providence. I've been to PGH on vacation and was made very aware of the word 'yinz'. As a side-note, PGH is physically an awesome city. The buildings, the views, it was gorgeous.
