The Proponent seeks to further revitalize and activate the Project Site as the second phase of development under the PDA, with the construction of a new fifteen (15) story, 438-room hotel of approximately 160,000 gross square feet (the “Proposed Project”).

Heres a render that popped up on bldup

I wonder if the end cap (poorly circled above) is going to be an LED display or fixed art or just...whatever this is?

Unless you're only going into the convention center, this is a pretty tough location for a hotel. You have no T service and a it takes some significant hoofing to get to just about anything of interest

It's a 12 minute walk to the Silver Line (both WTC and SL Way), which is a reasonable distance. It's also not much more of a walk to some decent Seaport amenities. But the other thing to keep in mind, is that the D street corridor is likely to become much more vibrant over the next few years as more parcels are developed. The sea of parking lots behind this group of hotels will likely look quite a bit different and more active once buildings go up.

If people are going to use the hotel for conventions and business on the seaport, it is ok, but these hotels are pretty remote for downtown and back bay business. I stayed at the Omni a couple of weeks ago and it was an almost 20-minute walk to South Station, and only a little less by Silver Line - even with a stop next to the hotel, add in wait times, etc.
