Any information about the architecture or history?... of 352 Massachusetts Avenue at St. Botolph Street Boston Massachusetts 02115 now called the Susan Bailis Assisted Living Community. Boston Public Library Fine Arts Department has a brief note for nearby 356 Mass Av just a name E. A. Bangs.

That's a newly constructed building. The previous apartments on the site were destroyed by a combination of arson and the construction of the Southwest Corridor. The apartments on the other side of the tracks, where Martin Luther King once resided, met a similar fate. Also across the street there was a narrow yellow brick apartment building adjacent to what is now the Mass Ave MBTA station which was burned out as long as I can remember before SWC demolition. The rest of the area toward Huntington Avenue was demolished for the awful Symphony Towers project.

See this photo for an idea.
