Bill Russell Bridge | North Washington St.

It looks like its only there on the part with the arch.
I think the confusion comes from your use of 'its' and it only being at the arch. which could be taken to me the 'architectural screening' or fascia, which has been the general topic of this discussion.

I quoted dhawkins who said “it looks like a cannon port” so was talking about the bracket for the fascia.

Anyone know the status of the underpass? I know a new one was planned, but it hardly looks like there's room for it, and it doesn't look like it's even been started.

Though I'd rather they just fix what I always thought was a stupid detour in what was then called the Connect Historic Boston Cycle Track. Have the median track on Causeway go all the way to N. Washington and then figure out how to get people over to the sidewalk track on Commercial.

I'd rather see the cycle track shifted to be sidewalk adjacent (on the northern side of Causeway) and span the length of Causeway from North Washington to Lomasney. That would have far fewer conflicts.

Wonder what the crew has been working on the last few days. Seems like they are reassembling a series of rusty pilings on the Lovejoy side near the wharf in order to create what seems like a temporary shelf. Is this the beginning of the underpass portion of the build? Also it remains that only half of the decorative colored lights are lit at night.

Either way, as long as it's separated, and not what passes for the cycle track in front of Portal Park right now.
