Something substantial would make this stick out less from South Portland.

I think the city is tired of the old people complaining about shadows and winds and compromised views. They need more property tax revenue--desperately.

Canal plaza is one of the worst wind tunnels in city. Is it possible that a new building in the lot could blunt it instead of making it worse?

And yes we have too many people who only think Portland’s downtown is the spine view from 295 side inside of the aerial view which shows its density . And moderately tall Portland square project would make it stand out less

Either of these styles would look good and change the skyline.

Add some height to the Portland Square Lots too and it'd be quite the downtown core.
